Zoom British Honey Tasting – Sunday 7th February at 4pm

Are you tired of bland, blended supermarket honey? Come and learn about amazing honey from Britain from the comfort our your home. Join Helen, beekeeper at Highgate Honey, for a Zoom tasting of a selection of delicious raw honey samples from around the country. She will also explain how humans have had a long history of honey consumption, how different types of honey are produced and extracted and honey fraud. Each participant will be sent a package with five sorts of honey, tasting spoons, a sample of beeswax, a sensory wheel, a pollen chart, tasting notes and some honey based recipes. Packages will be sent out a week before the session. Sessions last around 1hr 15mins. Postage within the UK is included in the price.
