A special honey tasting workshop to mark World Bee Day.
Are you tired of bland, blended supermarket honey? Come and learn about amazing honey from around the world from the comfort our your home. Join Helen, beekeeper at Highgate Honey, for a Zoom tasting of a selection of delicious raw honey samples from six continents. She will also explain how humans have had a long history of honey consumption, how different types of honey are produced and extracted and honey fraud. Each participant will be sent a package with six sorts of honey, tasting spoons, a sample of beeswax, a sensory wheel, a pollen chart, tasting notes and some honey based recipes. Packages will be sent out a week before the session. Sessions last around 2hrs. Postage within the UK is included in the price.
