A healthy, honey bee nucleus colony headed by a locally bred queen. These bees are raised in North London, ensuring they are fully acclimatised to the local urban climate and London’s specific nectar flows.

Specifications

Format: 5 x 14×12 National frames.

Housing: Supplied in a secure Correx travel box.

Queen: Marked queen. Clipping is available upon request.

Colony Composition: Minimum of 3 frames of brood in all stages (eggs, larvae, and sealed brood).

2 frames of food stores (local honey and pollen).

Sufficient adult worker bees to cover all 5 frames.

Health: Fully inspected for health and vigour; free from verifiable diseases.

Collection & Hive Transfer

Collection: This product is for collection only from Highgate.

Immediate Action Required: The Correx travel box is for transport purposes only. The colony must be transferred into a full-sized 14×12 hive immediately upon arrival at your apiary to ensure the bees have adequate space and ventilation.
